Salema Gulbahar

Salema manages the women entrepreneurship programme at Imperial College London.  She was previously at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), in Paris where she coordinated the launch of the Women’s Business Network and more recently managed the OECD’s global progress and well-being networks (Child, Research, Europe, Latin America, and Africa) and engagement tools.

Salema produced the first “Women’s Enterprise Action Plan” for the London Development Agency (GLA); worked on the ‘Education for All’ targets at UNESCO; developed business and fundraising plans for NGOs in India, founded the Graduates Forum in Tower Hamlets and started her career as a detached youth worker on the streets of London.

Salema is a graduate of School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, holds a certificate in youth work from Goldsmiths and an MBA from École des Ponts ParisTech.

Owen Valentine Pringle

Owen is a senior digital strategist with 20 years of experience across media, arts and NGO sectors.  His expertise includes digital transformation and organisational change, global strategy and alignment, and user-centred product innovation.

He is the co-founder of Therein, a boutique consultancy practice specialising in the organisational impacts of digital and technological transformation.

He was previously Director of Digital Communications at Amnesty International where he led on development and implementation of the organisation’s global digital strategy.

Prior to this, Owen was Brand Director for New Media & New Product Development at BSkyB, Commercial Director for New Media at ITN and Head of Media Services at Southbank Centre.

Bilal Hilton-Leigh

Bilal heads up Fixed Income Data Management in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse. Through data strategy and thought leadership, his remit is to leverage data to enhance decision-making and further enrich the Bank’s relationship with and service to its clients.

His work spans several domains including Business Intelligence & Client Analytics; Reference Data & Market Data; and data-related Regulatory Compliance.

Bilal has close to 20 years’ experience in financial services and management consulting. Prior to Credit Suisse, he has run Operations, eCommerce and Data Management programmes in JP Morgan, HSBC and Citibank.

He is also co-chair of Credit Suisse’s Multicultural Network. He is a tireless supporter of mentoring young talent and advocate of greater diversity in top management.
